Introducing Toshita, a 22-year-old 3rd year MBBS student from Nagpur, Maharashtra. Despite hailing from a small town with limited opportunities, she has utilized every chance to showcase her potential. Balancing her studies with content creation on YouTube and her passion for pageantry, she believes in breaking the limitations one sets upon themselves.
Contesting for India’s Miss TGPC Season-12 against 50 other girls from across India and beyond, Toshita is ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery, empowerment, and advocacy, all while showcasing the diversity and vibrancy of India.
TGPC: What motivated you to participate in India’s Miss TGPC?
Toshita: I am in a profession that demands most of my time. TGPC is an online platform that gives me the opportunity to handle my profession and passion at once. This is the reason I am motivated to participate in India’s Miss TGPC.
TGPC: Why do you believe you are deserving of the India’s Miss TGPC title?
Toshita: I believe that if you are willing to give your heart and soul to your dream, then no one can stop you from achieving it. I am always willing to do the hard work, and that’s why I believe I am a deserving contestant for India’s Miss TGPC title.
TGPC: Looking towards the future, what are your plans, both with and without the crown?
Toshita: Even if I get the crown or not, I firmly believe that at the end of this journey, I will be poised and more prepared for the opportunities and challenges that would come my way. My future plan involves continuing to develop my skills and keep growing by learning. I see myself eventually addressing my name as ‘Toshita Gabhane – India’.
TGPC: Growing up, what would you say was your biggest challenge?
Toshita: The biggest challenge while growing up for me was my desire to always excel in academics and every competition I took part in. And I accomplished my challenge by always winning in them with hard work and determination.
TGPC: Beyond winning, what aspect of India’s Miss TGPC are you most excited about?
Toshita: I am a growth admirer, and the one thing I am most excited about is that I will get to learn from the best mentors in this journey. I anticipate that I will emerge as a strong, confident, and graceful person through this journey.
TGPC: As an aspiring winner of India’s Miss TGPC, what legacy do you aspire to leave behind?
Toshita: I want small-town girls like me who don’t dare to speak about their dreams to believe that they too can do it. I want them to look at me as an example that femininity is power. Celebrate it, embrace it! Don’t be shy to dream it and fulfill it.
TGPC: Could you share with us the causes or issues that you are particularly passionate about, and how do you intend to utilize this platform to create an impact?
Toshita: My vision is to create a healthy society. The world today is suffering, and the slum areas are the most affected ones. The lack of awareness is the root cause of this. With this platform, I would be able to address this issue more impactfully, and I believe this platform will definitely give my vision a voice.
TGPC: Is there any message you’d like to convey to those reading this?
Toshita: Take risks! What is life without risks? Even if you fail a number of times, you will eventually win at life because at the deathbed, you will have no regrets of not doing the things your heart asked you to do!
