Caitlin Tyson wins Miss Cayman Islands Universe 2018

Caitlin Tyson defeated 6 other contestants to win the title of Miss Cayman Islands Universe 2018. Grand finale of Miss Cayman Islands Universe 2018 took place on Saturday, 11th of August 2018 at Westin Casuarina Resort. Caitlin was crowned by the outgoing winner Anika Conolly. Caitlin will now represent the Cayman Islands at the Miss Universe 2018  pageant which will take place on 16th December 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand, where she will try to succeed South Africa’s Demi Leigh Nel Peters as the next Miss Universe. Josani Schneider bagged the first runner-up crown whereas Tiffany Conolly walked away with the second runner-up title.

The Cayman Islands started competing at the Miss Universe pageant in the year 1977. Unfortunately, The Cayman Islands is yet to place at the Miss Universe pageant making it one of the least successful sashes at the pageant.

Caitlin is a Cayman-American actress, writer, and model based in New York. This 5ft 9 inches stunner has a degree in Associates of Arts -English Literature and Literary studies from the Univesity college of the Cayman Islands. Caitlin has been a part of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
