Aniska Tonge defeated 4 other contestants to win the title of Miss Universe US Virgin Islands 2018. The grand finale of Miss Universe US Virgin Islands 2018 took place on Saturday, 11th of August 2018 at the Pistarckle Theater, St Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. Esonica Veira the outgoing Miss Universe US Virgin Islands crowned Aniska as her successor. Aniska will now represent the US Virgin Islands at the Miss Universe 2018 which will take place on 16th of December 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand, where she will try to succeed South Africa’s Demi Leigh Nel Peters as the next Miss Universe. The other four contestants were Chanelle Howell, Joane Jeffers, Samaria Mouton, and Morgan Evans.
Judges for the finale included Michelle Mclean-Bailey, Miss Universe 1992 from Namibia, Genesis Davila the reigning Miss Florida USA, Supermodel and recording artist Ivy, Rick Diehl Esteban, Interview Coach, Fitness expert Shannon Dey, Stacie B. January who is running for the seat of Senator in the upcoming elections and Attorney Arthur D. Sims.

27-years-old Aniska is a BS in Psychology with minor in Women & Gender Studies from the University of South Florida. At a young age of 15, Aniska was abused by her former boyfriend which lead her to suffer from anxiety after competing at the Miss America 2013 pageant Aniska opened The 4Her foundation where Aniska travelled across the Virgin Islands promoting her cause on how young women can deal with Low self-esteem and anxiety. Aniska is not new to the world of pageantry she represented The US Virgin Islands at Miss America 2013 and after a year she represented her country at the Miss World 2014 pageant.
