Jane Teoh wins Miss Universe Malaysia 2018

Jane Teoh defeated 17 other contestants to bag the title of Miss Universe Malaysia 2018. Grand finale of Miss Universe Malaysia 2018 took place on Thursday 11th of January 2018 at The Majestic Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. Samantha Katie James ,Miss Universe Malaysia 2017 crowned Jane as her successor at the end of the pageant. Jane will now represent Malaysia at the Miss Universe 2018 pageant where she will try to succeed Demi Leigh Nel Peters of South Africa as the next Miss Universe. Miss Universe Malaysia 2012, Kimberley Leggett hosted the event. The pageant was aired live on Hurr.tv. Malaysia is one of the least successful countries at the Miss Universe pageant they have placed just once in the history of the pageant courtesy of Josephine Lena Wong who entered the top 15 of Miss Universe 1970 pageant.

20-years-old Jane hails from Penang,Malaysia. Jane is 178 cm tall and represented Malaysia at Face of Beauty International 2016 where she managed to bag top 10 placement for her country.
