Carolina Urrea defeated 20 other contestants to win the title of Miss Nevada USA 2018. Grand finale of Miss Nevada USA 2018 took place on Sunday 7th of January 2018 at the Southpoint Hotel Casino & Spa, Las Vegas. Lauren York, Miss Nevada USA 2017 crowned Carolina as her successor at the end of the event. Carolina will now represent Nevada at the Miss USA 2018 pageant later this year where she will try to succeed Kara McCullough as the next Miss USA. In the same event Britney Barnhart was crowned as Miss Teen Nevada USA 2018 by the outgoing winner Alexis Smith. Britney will represent Nevada at the Miss Teen USA 2018 pageant later this year. Shanna Moakler,Miss USA 1995 is the director for the Miss Nevada USA pageant. Nia Sanchez is the only Miss Nevada to win the Miss USA crown she bagged the title in 2014 and went to clinch the first runner-up title at Miss Universe 2014 pageant.  MIss Nevada Mary O’Neal Contino was the first runner-up at Miss USA 1977 pageant. Nevada has bagged 5 second runner-up crowns and 3 third runner-up  crowns along with 2 fourth runner-up crown and multiple placements making it one of the most successful states at the Miss USA pageant.

23-years-old Carolina Adriana Urrea is a professional model and actress. Carolina is bilingual and can speak English & Spanish fluently. Carolina is part Colombian and has competed in Univision’s Nuestra Belleza Latina. Currently she is working along with Nevada Partnership of Homeless Youth a organization that is committed to help the homeless youths of Nevada.  Carolina loves to travel and experience new cultures and food. Carolina is not new to the pageant world she competed at Miss California USA 2016 where she ended up as a fourth runner-up and in 2017 she managed a semi-final spot in the same event.
