Emina Ekic is Miss Universe Slovenia 2017

Emina Ekic is chosen as Miss Universe Slovenia 2017. She succeeds Lucija Potočnik as Miss Universe Slovenia and will participate in Miss Universe 2017 in Las Vegas next month. Slovenia did not place in Miss Universe 2016.

22 years old Emina Ekic 5 ft 10 inches tall and hails from Ptuj. The points in favor of Emina are her height and youthful looks. However, she has really no time to prepare. She will have to reach Las Vegas for Miss Universe in less than 4 weeks. If she had got more time to prepare, she could have brought second placement for Slovenia.

Slovenia has been participating in Miss Universe since 2001. However, they have placed in Top 15 just once. Tjaša Kokalj, Miss Universe Slovenia 2007, made it to the Top 15 in Miss Universe 2007.
