Jack Eyers wins Mr England 2017, the first amputee winner in male pageants
Jack Eyers, Mr Dorset 2017, was chosen as Mr England 2017 in the national finale held in Birmingham on 14th July 2017. He defeated 24 other contestant to win the pageant. He succeeds Chris Bramell, Mister World 2016 Top 5 Finalist, as Mister England winner. Jack will now compete at the next Mister World edition.
Jack Eyes is the first amputee to win a popular male pageant. He was born with the degenerative conditional Proximal Femoral Focal Deficiency (PFFD) which causes a deformed hip and a shortened leg. His right leg was amputated at the age of 16. He is 28 and stands 6’2″ tall. He is a personal trainer and fitness model. He has walked in New York Fashion week and was featured on Ninja Warrior. He has also walked in fashion weeks of Milan, Moscow and performed in front of 80,000 and the royal family in paralympic opening ceremony in 2012. He was also crowned Men Health’s Man of the year.
