Meet Señorita Colombia 2016-17 Contestants!!!

Señorita Colombia 2016 which was to take place in the month of November last year was postponed due to the new rule by MUO which prohibited the Colombian org to crown its winner for 2016. Señorita Colombia 2016 will now take place in the month of March this will be the 65th edition of the pageant. Andrea Tovar Velasquez , Senorita Colombia 2015 will crown her successor at the end of the pageant. Señorita Colombia 2016-2017 winner will represent Colombia at Miss Universe 2017 and her runner-up will represent Colombia at Miss International 2017 pageant later this year

Colombia is a pageant powerhouse it has produced two Miss Universe winners Luz Marina Zuluaga in 1958 & Paulina Vega at the Miss Universe 2014 pageant Colombia ha various placements and runner-ups. Colombia’s Stella Marquez was the first winner of Miss International pageant in 1999 Paulina Gálvez became second Colombian to win the prestigious title whereas Jeymmy Vargas was the last Colombian to win the title in 2004.
