Miss World 2016 Top Model Results !!

Miss China PR Jing Kong has won the Top Model challenge of Miss World 2016. Miss Indonesia Natasha Mannuela was the 1st runner-up while Miss Dominican Republic Yaritza Reyes was the 2nd Runner-up. Miss France Morgane Edvige and Miss Kenya Evelyn Njambi Thungu were Top 5 finalists in the event.

Miss China PR Jing Kong hails from Beijing and has a towering height of 5 ft 11 inches.  Almost everyone in the Top 5 is a surprise except Dominican Republic and France.

This probably means that Miss China PR Jing Kong gets a direct entry to the Top 20 of Miss World 2016, joining Miss Cook Islands Natalia Short who won the Sports challenge.  It is interesting to see that major favourites like Hungary, Philippines, USA, Venezuela, Mongolia, India are not in the Top 5 of Top Model.  Generally Top Model event is seen as the precursor to finals.  The winner of Miss World finals almost always places in the Top Model event.  With this shocking results in Top Model, the world should be open to some possible surprises in the finals.
