Shannon Harris crowned Miss Universe Barbados 2016

21-year-old Shannon Harris defeated 13 other  contestants to bag the crown of Miss Universe Barbados 2016. Shannon will represent Barbados at the Miss Universe 2016 pageant which will take place in Manila,Philippines next year. Shannon was awarded with $1,15,000 worth of gifts and cash prizes. Grand finale of Miss Universe Barbados 2016 took place on 17th September 2016 at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre. Jewel Garner crowned Shannon as her successor at the end of the event.
