Raquel Tejedor Melendez won Miss World Spain 2016 will represent Spain at Miss World 2016

Raquel Tejedor Melendez representing the Aragón region bagged the title of Miss Mundo España 2016(Miss World Spain 2016). Grand Finale of Miss World Spain 2016 took place on 17th September 2016 at the Teatro Auditorio de Salou .The reigning Miss World Mireia Lalaguna Royo crowned Raquel as her national successor.  Raquel will now represent Spain at the Miss World 2016 pageant which will take place in  Washington D.C at the end of this year. In the same event  Carla Font Cabrera,Lleida was crowned as the first runner-up and the second runner-up crown went to Miriam Paredes Gines from Madrid. Spain has won Miss World crown once courtesy of Mireia last year. The have placed in the top 10 couple of times and have always send competitive contestants to the Miss World pageant. 20-year old Raquel is a psychology student from  Aragón she was overwhelmed with joy when her name was announced as Miss World Spain 2016.

Raquel’s towering height and exotic features will help her stand out from rest of the contestants at the Miss World pageant. Going by her pics and interviews We think Spain will give a though fiight in defending the Miss World crown. If she can handle the pressure she can easily be top 10.
