It is of no surprise that Trixia Maraña is chosen as the winner.  The pageant is relatively new and hence it will take time before attracting strong delegates.  Trixia is a pageant veteran and comes across as a groomed lady.  Also, Philippines is a strong market and choosing a winner from the country will definitely help the brand establish itself and gain more popularity.
