Carolina Rodriguez Castro crowned Miss Costa Rica 2016

Carolina Rodriguez Castro was crowned as the winner of Miss Costa Rica 2016 at the end of the national finale held yesterday. The pageant finale took place in National Auditorium, the Children’s Museum in San Jose. Carolina Rodriguez Castro shall now represent Costa Rica in Miss Universe 2016 in January 2017 in Philippines. She succeeds Brenda Castro as the new Miss Costa Rica.

Meet the Contestants of Miss Universe 2016

The finale went through 3 rounds- Swimsuit, Evening Gown and Question and Answer round. Carolina Rodriguez Castro was chose as the unanimous winner of the contest.The Top 3 court was completed by Elena Correa and Andrea. Costa Rica has previously never won the crown of Miss Universe. This year Carolina will try to achieve the feat of winning Miss Universe crown for hr country.

Chances of Carolina Rodriguez Castro at Miss Universe 2016

Although we love the unconventional look of Carolina, we doubt that the sash she is carrying will weigh a lot during her stint at Miss Universe. She has well toned body that will be a plus point. She might wish to work on her styling aspect so that she can stand out from the crowd. We would like to see her during Miss Universe 2016 and then evaluate her placement. As of now, we don’t see her placing.
