Pia Sutaria of India wins Reina Petite Intercontinental 2016

Pia Sutaria of India has been declared the winner of Reina Petite Intercontinental 2016 pageant held on 17 August 2016 at the Holiday Inn in San Jose, Costa Rica. Pia is the first ever Asian and Indian contestant to win the prestigious international pageant. The 20-year-old Mumbai based model was declared Reina Petite Intercontinental India 2016 at the grand finale of Abraxas Goddess of Beauty pageant staged at the Dona Sylvia Beach in Goa, India. She is also the first ever Reina Petite Intercontinental India titleholder.

Apart from winning the main title, Pia also won three special awards at the prestigious international pageant, including, Best in Bikini, Best in Behaviour and Miss Talent. The Reina Petite Intercontinental pageant is based in Costa Rica and is owned by Jose Vasconez. The first ever Reina titleholder was Cherity Bhagoe, the Ducth-Indian model from Netherlands who represented India at the Reina Intercontinental 2015 pageant, the sister beauty pageant of Reina Petite Intercontinental and placed as 1st runner up. Another category of Reina contest is Reina Miss Teen Intercontinental.
