Mutesi Jolly will be Rwanda's 1st contestant to Miss World

Mutesi Jolly was crowned as Miss Rwanda 2016 in February this year.  She will represent the country at Miss World 2016 in December this year in Washington DC, United States of America.  This will be the first year of Rwanda at Miss World pageant.  Mutesi is 19.  She won the fifth edition of Miss Rwanda beauty pageant.

Mutesi Jolly has been doing a lot of humanitarian work since her win.  She has been part of activites to improve lives of people and sensitise the youth regarding drug abuse.  She has been visiting children’s homes and hospitals.  She paid community health insurance for 1000 needy people in western province and offeren free milk for children of Peace and Hope Initiative in Kinyinya, Gasabo District.  She also partnered with Rotaract Clud, and built ‘Kitchen Gardens’ for 50 Genocide widows.  She was recently in Akagera, with support of the Rwanda Development Board to promote tourism.

Mutesi Jolly’s chances at Miss World 2016

Mutesi Jolly has a very beautiful face.  She is tall and has a great figure.  She has been doing really good work and it is something that Miss World organization often appreciates.  Also, ‘beginner’s luck’ is something that works for many people.  If Mutesi prepares well, she can achieve a placement in Miss World 2016.  However, for now we will say it seems less probable.
