Giada Tropea wins Miss World Italy 2016

Giada Tropea crowned Miss Mondo Italia 2016 !!!

17-years-old Giada Tropea representing the Calabria province defeated 49 other contestants to bag the crown and title of Miss Mondo Italia 2016 ( Miss World-Italy 2016). Miss Mondo Italia 2015- Greta Galassi crowned Giada as her successor at the end of the event. Giada will now represent Italy at the upcoming Miss World 2016 pageant later this year. the first runner-up crown went to Flavia Panfili who was representing Lazio region where as the second runner-up crown went to Irene Ghirardo who is from Veneto province. Martina Dell’Anna from Puglia &  Melissa Pini from Toscana completed the top 5. Kaspar Capparoni one of the famous actors from Italy was the chief guest. Italy has never won the Miss World crown the highest placement for the country was in 2000 when Giorgia Palmas bagged the first runner-up crown. Italy made it to top 7 of Miss World 2010 courtesy of Giada Pezzaioli and Top 20 at the Miss World 2013 pageant in Bali.

17-year-old Giada, is a high school student studying science. She aspires to become a neurosurgeon one day. This brown eye beauty is 175 cm tall. She enjoys music,sports and animals she dedicated her win to her family who she considers them as pillars of her strength.
