Ffion Moyle crowned Miss Wales 2016 !!!!

Ffion Moyle was crowned as Miss Wales 2016 in a glittery ceremony that took place on 16th April 2016 at the Princess Royal Theater in Port Talbot. Ffion was crowned by the outgoing Miss Wales 2015- Emma Jenkins. Ffion will represent Wales at the upcoming Miss World 2016 pageant later this year.Sophie Bell bagged the first runner-up crown where as the second runner-up crown was awarded to Victoria Grinnall. 23-years-old Ffion Moyle hails from Carmarthen and is a make up artist at Tinopolis. She considers her self as a passionate and hardworking person. She enjoys long walks in the woods with her pet dog.Being eldest of 4 kids she wants to be a perfect role model of her 3 younger siblings.

Wales debuted at Miss World in the year 1999 the highest placement for Wales was when Sophie Moulds bagged the first runner-up crown at Miss World 2012 pageant. Amy Guy is the only other delegate from Wales to get placed at Miss World pageant she competed in the 2004 edition. Rosemarie Frankland who hailed from Wales represented United Kingdom at Miss Universe 1961 where she bagged the first runner-up crown and she went on to win the Miss World pageant int the same year. She became the first Welsh women to bag the title of Miss United Kingdom and first British women to win Miss World crown.Helen Morgan the infamous Miss World 1974 winner who was dethroned after 4 days was also from Wales she also bagged the first runner-up crown at Miss Universe 1974 pageant.
