Do you like Arusha Sharma, Miss Himachal 2016 winner?

A cute model by the name Arusha Sharma from Mandi has won the title of Miss Himachal 2016.  She defeated 19 other beautiful girls to win the title.  Her first runner-up was Supreet of Palampur and second runner-up was Aanchal Thakur of Rampur.  Arusha Sharma also won Miss Style Diva and Miss Vivacoius subtitles in the pageant.  Femina Miss India 2014 Koyal Rana, who won Miss World Asia-Pacific title at the prestigious Miss World pageant in 2014, was a judge.

It is interesting to note that last year’s winner, Natasha Singh from Bilaspur, recently won 1st runner-up at Femina Miss India Delhi 2016.  She received a lot of appreciation from everyone due to her facial beauty.

Apart from Natasha Singh, one more alumni from Miss Himachal is Purva Rana, who won the pageant in 2010.  Later she participated in Femina Miss India 2012.  She also competed in Miss United Continent 2013 and was crowned as Vice Queen United Continent 2013 on 14 September 2013. She was also placed as 1st Runner up at Miss Tourism 2012 pageant.

We are glad that such state-level pageants are held in some corners of the country.  They encourage girls from small towns and villages to come out from their shells.  They create local celebrities.  Many of the contestants often participate in bigger pageants or plunge into the world of modelling.

We do like Arusha Sharma and think she has good potential for major pageants and modelling.  Do you like her? Please let us know in comments.
