Tiffany Teixeira  wins Miss Connecticut USA 2016

Tiffany Teixeira was crowned Miss Connecticut USA 2016 she will now represent Connecticut at Miss USA 2016 pageant  next year. Tffany was crowned by the outgoing queen Miss Connecticut USA 2015 Ashley Golebiewski The first runner-up crown went to Samantha Sojka where as second runner-up crown went to Dalila May In the same event Katy Brown was crowned as Miss Teen Connecticut USA 2016 she will represent Connecticut as Miss Teen USA 2016 pageant next year.

Miss USA 2013 Erin Brady is the only Miss USA title holder from the state of Connecticut. The state has two first runner up crown courtesy of Diane Zabicki at Miss USA1962 and Pat Denne in 1966 edition of Miss USA. Alita Dawson Miss Connecticut USA 2002 was fourth runner-up at Miss USA 2002. Apart from these achievement Connecticut has placed only six times at the pageant.

24 year old Tiffany Ann Teixeira hails from Bridgeport. She is a graduated  from Central Magnet High School and Quinnipiac University.Currently she works as an ICU nurse at Yale-New Haven hospital. Tiffany enjoys traveling, walking with her pet Chihuahua & working with her dad on cars.  she enjoys working out and Bikram Yoga. Tiffany represented Connecticut at Miss Teen USA 2009. Prior to that she as second runner up at Miss Teen Connecticut USA 2007 and first runner up at Miss Teen Connecticut USA 2008. She competed at the senior division in 2013 where she was crowned first runner-up last she was crowned second runner-up at 2014 and 2015 editions.
