Andrea Tovar Velasquez was declared as the winner of Senorita Colombia 2015 at the end of a magnificent finale held last night. The finale was held at Auditorio Getsemani-Centro de Convenciones Julio César Turbay Ayala, Cartagena. She represented the region of Choco at the pageant and will now represent Colombia in Miss Universe 2016 contest. Andrea Tovar battled out 22 other candidates to claim the title of Miss Colombia 2015. This is the second time ever Choco won Senorita Colombia. 22-years-old Andrea Tovar stands 179 cm tall and did her studies in Industrial Design from the Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano in Bogota. She is a daughter of a doctor and a businesswoman. The event was judged by judges for the night consisted of Ana Gabriela Delgado, Mayela Camacho, José Slim and Stefan Regez. She was crowned by Ariadna Gutierezz, Senorita Colombia 2014, who will represent Colombia in Miss Universe 2015 this December.

At the same event, Daniela Harrera Avendano was crowned as Miss International Colombia 2015. She will now represent her country at Miss International 2016. Currently, she is in her 4th Semester of Social Communication and Journalism at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Bucaramanga. She is parallely doing modelling as well..

In addition to main winners, Alejandra Ochoa López was declared as the first runner-up, María Camila Soleibe Alarcón was declared as the second runner-up and Carmen Alomía Pardo was declared as the third runner-up. The other sub award are as below:

Zapatilla Real: Bucaramanga – Ashley Ordóñez Arévalo

Miss Puntuality: Meta – Ana María Landaeta

Cooking Contest: Nariño – Leydi Carolina Carvajal

Coming to feedback of Pageant fans, Andrea Tovar has garnered extremely positive reviews. Her exotic features and her dusky skin tone is something that will make her stand out. It would be so difficult to see her out of Top 5 at Miss Universe 2016.
