Serena Pan, a 23-years-old beauty from Guangzho, won the title of Miss Earth China 2015.  She was crowned by Miss Earth China 2014 Shirley Sam in a glittering ceremony.  Serena Pan will compete in Miss Earth 2015 pageant that will be held in Vienna, Austria this year in the month of December.  The winner will be crowned by Miss Earth 2014 Jamie Herrell of Philippines.  95 girls are expected to compete in the pageant.

Serena Pan has the chance to be the first Miss Earth from China.  China is participating in Miss Earth pageant since 2002.  The first girl from China to participate was Zhang Mei.  However, she could not place in Miss Earth 2002.  The first placement of China in Miss Earth was achieved by Zhou Mengting.  She was a Top 16 semi-finalist in Miss Earth 2006.  Second placement was achieved by Miss Earth China 2013 Lisa Xiang Yang.  She was Top 16 semi-finalist in Miss Earth 2013.  Last year Shirley Sam could not place in Miss Earth 2014.

Serena Pan will not have an easy ride at Miss Earth 2015.  There are many girls who are very competitive and have a good shot at Miss Earth 2015 title.  This year Estefania Muñoz was chosen as Miss Earth Colombia 2015.  With her stunning looks, she is definitely one of the big favorites at the moment.  Miss Earth Philippines Angelia Ong is also a very strong delegate.  With a lean body and lots of charm, this girl can get a back-to-back for Philippines at Miss Earth this year.  Miss South Sudan Agot Deng Jogaak is one of the strong black delegates this year.  The big favourite for Miss Universe Thailand 2015 who finished as 1st runner-up, Chavika Watrsang will be Thailand’s bet at Miss Earth.  It just seems improbable to keep her out of Top 8!  United States is eyeing their first Miss Earth title this year with a very strong delegate by the name Brittany Ann Payne.
