Mireia Lalaguna wins Miss World Spain 2015 [Result]

22-year-old Miss Barcelona –Mireia Lalaguna won the title of Miss World Spain 2015. Mireia will now represent Spain at the 65th edition of Miss World  which will take place on 19th December 2015 at the Crown of Beauty Theater,in Sanya,China. Finale of Miss World Spain 2015 took place at  Philip VI of Estepona in Málaga Auditorium. 26 contestants competed for the most coveted crown in Spain. Lourdes Rodríguez crowned- Miss World Spain 2014 crowned Mireia Lalaguna as her successor at the end of the event. The first runner-up crown went to Miss Asturias Angela González where as Second runner-up was award to Miss Baleares, Natalia Ferrer. Ángela Ponce a transgender was allowed to compete at the pageant by the organizers however it was not clear whether the Miss World Organization allows transgenders to compete in the pageant or not.

Spain is yet to produce a Miss World Winner but it has one second runner-up courtesy of  Maria del Carmen Fernández (1961). Two fourth runner-up crowns Gloria María Valenciano in 1978 and Susana de la Llave Varón in 1988. In 2013 Miss World Spain Elena Ibarbia Jiménez was in the top 6 of Miss World pageant. Spain debuted at Miss World in the year 1961 with Concepción Molinera Palacios being its first representative. Spain has bagged twelve  semi final spots at the Miss World Pageant.

22-year-old Mireia hails from Barcelona. She is studying pharmacy at the university of Barcelona. She works as a part-time model. Mireia has been modelling since the age of 14 she has lived in Copenhagen for a year. she enjoys playing piano. Mireia enjoys  playing Tennis and various other sports. This blonde stunner is 5 feet 9 inches tall and has blue eyes. The Miss World Spain website showed her as 15-year-old which created lots of drama throughout the day.
