Stormy Keffeler wins Miss Washington USA 2016
23 year old Miss Sky Valley-Stormy Keffeler bagged the crown of Miss Washington USA 2016. Stormy will now represent Washington at the Miss USA 2016 Pageant which will be held next year. This year’s Miss Washington USA finale took place at the Highline Performing Arts Center in Burien, WA. Stormy was crowned by the outgoing queen Kenzi Novell Miss Washington USA 2015. Miss Greater Bellevue- Kelsey Schmidt bagged the first runner up crown where as Julianne Fingado Miss Queen Anne was declared as the second runner up. In the same event Claire Wright was crowned as Miss Teen Washington USA 2016 she will go on to represent Washington at Miss Teen USA 2016 Pageant next year.
Washington debuted at Miss USA in the year 1952 with Adele M. Slaybough. Washington has one Miss USA crown courtesy of Dorothy Anstett -Miss USA 1968 who went on to bag the fourth runner up crown at Miss Universe 1968 pageant. Washington also has one first runner up Tracey Goddard was crowned as first runner up at Miss USA 1979. Miss Washington USA 1953 Nancy Petraborg was crowned as third runner up at Miss USA 1953. Washington has place 11 times in semifinals of Miss USA Pageant.

Stormy played as a quarterback for legends football league.She had previously competed in the 2014 edition where of Miss Washington USA where she was as semi finalist but she failed to place in 2015 edition.
