Jessielyn Palumbo wins Miss New Jersey USA 2016 [Result]
Jessielyn Palumbo won the crown of Miss New Jersey USA 2016. Jessielyn will now represent New Jersey at the Miss USA 2016 Pageant next year. She was crowned by the outgoing queen Vanessa Oriolo Miss New Jersey USA 2015. The first runner up crown went to Larissa Martinez where as Kendall Zoppa was crowned as second runner up. In the same event Gina Mellish was crowned as Miss Teen New Jersey USA 2016. Gina will represent New Jersey at Miss Teen USA 2016.
New Jersey has never won the Miss USA crown the closest they came was in 1991 when Charlotte Ray bagged the first runner-up crown at that year’s Miss USA pageant. New Jersey has 3 second runner-up crown Deborah Lee Husti at Miss USA 1989, Karin Hartz won second runner-up at Miss USA 1990& Tiffany Andrade bagged second runner-up crown at Miss USA 2008 pageant. New Jersey has placed 11 times in the semis of Miss USA .

23-year-old Jessielyn Palumbo hails from Wayne, New Jersey. She is a published photographer and illustrator. She specializes in Fashion,Beauty and Pageants. She has interned with Fadil Berisha official photographer of Miss Universe organization in the summer of 2013. She works at Maxim Magazine as a freelance online photo editor. Jessielyn also works with Coco’s Chateau as graphic designer. She participated at the Miss New Jersey Teen USA 2010 pageant where she was third runner-up and then she competed again next year but failed to win the crown she bagged the first runner-up crown at Miss Teen New Jersey USA 2011 pageant. She was third runner-up at both Miss New Jersey 2012 & 2013 she ended up as semi finalist at Miss New Jersey USA 2015.
