Sasha Wintz wins Miss World British Virgin Islands 2015 crown

Sasha Wintz (Sasha O. E. Wintz) defeated 3 other contestants to win the crown of Miss World British Virgin Islands 2015. Sasha will represent BVI at Miss World 2015 which will be held on 19th December 2015 at Beauty Crown of Beauty Theatre in Sanya, China. Sasha was crowned by the outgoing Queen, Miss World British Virgin Islands 2014, Rosanna K. Chichester. The First runner-up crown went to  Yadali Thomas.

It was double delight for Mindy Paul as she  won People’s Choice and Miss Congeniality award. Bryana Robles bagged four titles:- Best Introduction, Best in Swimwear, Best Talent and Best in Interview. Sasha O. E. Wintz the eventual winner bagged Miss Photogenic, Best in Evening Wear and Miss Poise. British Virgin Islands debuted at Miss World in 1986. Anthonia Brenda Lewis was the first delegate from British Virgin Islands to compete at Miss World Pageant. The island nation is yet to place at Miss World Pageant. Kertis Kassandra Malone Miss British Virgin Islands 2013 was third runner-up at Talent round at Miss World 2013.

18-year-old Sasha is a singer from Tortola. She aspires to study music at H Lavity Stoutt Community College, Her aim is to become a professional singer one day. She enjoys travelling and reading. She wants to helps autistically challenged children which is her beauty with a purpose. Sasha has traveled and performed at many venues in New York.

Looking at her talent, we feel she might just win the talent round, or the least she would do is placing as one of the finalists at Talent round. However, she will have a tough competition from Lisa Punch of Guyana, who is equally talented and is an Ex-contestants of one of the biggest reality singing show of Guyana.
