Miss Guatemala 2015 Results

The magnificent finale of Miss Guatemala 2015 concluded by crowning 3 stunning girls. Jeimmy Aburto from Ciudad Capital Sur was crowned as Miss Universo Guatemala 2015, beating 11 other contestants in the competition. She will now represent her country at Miss Universe 2015. Guatemala has placed in Miss Universe contest only thrice. The first ever placement was achieved in 1955 by María del Rosario Molina Chacón where she was among the Top 15 contestants. The second placement was in 1984 by Ilma Julieta Urrutia Chang where she was in Top 10. The third and last placement was achieved by Guatemala was in 2010 when Jessica María Scheel Noyola reached the Top 10 of the contest. Guatemala also won Miss Congeniality in 2012 with the courtesy of Laura Beatriz Godoy Calle. Jeimy Aburto will try grabbing the first ever crown of Miss Universe for Guatemala.

María José Larrañaga from Depto Guatemala was declared as Miss Mundo Guatemala 2015. She will now compete in Miss World 2015, to be held in Sanya, China later this year.  Guatemala has placed in Miss World contest only twice. The first placement being in 2012 where Lourdes Figueroa Araujo was one of the Top 20 and another placement was in 2013 where Monique Georgette Aparicio was in Top 30. Saida Jerónimo from Chiquimula was crowned as Miss Internacional Guatemala 2015. She will now compete in Miss International 2015, to be held in Tokyo, Japan later in Novemeber. Guatemala has won one Miss International crown in 1984 when Ilma Julieta Urrutia Chang represented her country at he said contest. She was also a Top 10 at Miss Universe 1984. The second and last placement received by Guatemala was in 1993 when Diana Lucrecia Galván Flores placed as one of the Top 10 contestants.
