Kathryn Kohut will represent Canada at Miss International 2015
Kathryn Kohut is hand-picked to represent Canada at Miss International 2015. She was a contestant at Miss Universe Canada 2015 where Paola Nunez Valdez was declared as winner of the show. But she placed as 2nd runner-up in the national pageant. Kathryn Kohut was already a hot favourite to win the title of Miss Universe Canada back then due to her stint at Miss Grand International 2014. She represented Canada at Miss Grand International 2014 in Thailand where she placed as 2nd runner-up to Lees Garcia from Cuba.
Kathryn Kohut is a health conscious and she focuses on early morning walks and her work includes constant travelling. She likes to keep her look simple but she also believes that she can channelise any kind of wardrobe and look stunning in them.
“I believe that kindness and keeping an open mind makes a person value life and the people around them more, and that our choices affect one another both directly and indirectly.”, states Kathryn. One of her philosophies is “taking the first step towards your goals and dreams is not always easy, but in hindsight, it is always worth it.”
Canada has never won Miss International crown till date. After the current franchisee holder took over the charge of sending the contestant of Canada for Miss International in 2000, they could manage to place twice in final. First placement was in 2000 where Angeliki Lakouras was one of the Top 10 finalists.Canada got its second placement under new franchisee in 2009 when Chanel Beckenlehner placed in Top 15 in the finale. Kathryn Kohut has already set expectations high for Canada now, after her successful stint at Miss Grand International 2014. Do you think she can repeat the success legacy even at Miss International 2015?
