Miss Aruba 2015 Winners Are Announced!

Miss Aruba 2015 Finale took place at Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino in Palm Beach, where 20 years old Alysha Boekhoudt was crowned Miss Aruba 2015. She will represent her country at Miss Universe 2015. Alysha is a full time Model & has a diploma in International Business. She won Miss Photogenic award at the finale. 20 years old Nicole Van Tellingen originally from Schiedam, Netherlands, but living in Palm Beach, won the Miss World Aruba 2015 crown. She will represent Aruba at Miss World 2015 in Sanya, China later this year. Nicole was awarded with Best Smile & Best Runway subtitles. First runner up crown went to Thalia Croes. Kanisha Sluis, Miss Universe Curacao 2015, was also present at the finale. Digene Zimmerman, Miss Aruba 2014, crowned Alysha Boekhoudt as the new Miss Aruba, i.e. Miss Aruba 2015. Aruba was last placed at Miss Universe in 1996, where Taryn Scheryl Mansell won the first runner-up crown. Larisa Leeuwe, Miss World Aruba 2013 was the last placement for Aruba at Miss World. Aruba has never won Miss Universe or Miss World pageants. Aruba has won Miss World Caribbean (continental queen) title at Miss World thrice – Afranina Henriques won in 1996, Zizi Lee 2001 & Rachelle Oduber in 2002.
