Miss Earth Uganda 2015 Contestants
Miss Earth Uganda 2015 Contestants have been revealed recently in a press presentation. 9 gorgeous ladies are participating in the contest. On 30th August 2015, talent and national costume contest will take place. On 5th September 2015, the finals of the pageant will take place. Unfortunately the Miss Earth Uganda has not updated the details about the contestants on their website or the social media page. However, many pictures are available from which it is evident that the girls are really good and the pageant may produce a stunning winner!
Miss Earth Uganda 2015 is special because it is happening now after a gap of 6 years. Till now, Uganda has been present in Miss Earth pageant for about 3 times. The first representative from Uganda to Miss Earth was in the year 2002 when Martha Semegura Nambajjwe represented the country. Martha could not place in the pageant which was won by Miss Bosnia & herzegovina Džejla Glavović (later replaced by Miss Kenya Winfred Omwakwe). The second Ugandan beauty in Miss Earth was Hellen Karungi who also did not place. The year was 2007 when Miss Canada Jessica Trisko was the winner. The third Ugandan beauty in Miss Earth was Victoria Nabagereka who could not place in Miss Earth 2008, which was won by Karla Paula Henry of Philippines.
Miss Earth Uganda 2015 winner will represent the country at Miss Earth 2015 which is to be held in Vienna, Austria and the new winner will be crowned by Jamie Herrell of Philippines. Interestingly, the new national director of the pageant is the lady who last represented the country at Miss Earth, Victoria Nabagereka. The new winner will have a challenge in front of her, because Miss Earth 2015 contestants are very strong. Recently elected beauty Estefania Muñoz of Colombia is definitely one of the front-runners. Linda Gatere of Kenya will be giving a fight to the new Miss Uganda from the continent of Africa. Philippines will try to defend the title with the stunning Angelia Ong. USA is strong this year with Brittany Ann Payne. Since Miss Earth Uganda 2015 contestants are so good, we hope the new winner will be a really strong competition to the ladies we just mentioned here.
