Best Oceania and Caribbean Beauties 2014

After the release of  ‘Best Asian Beauties 2014′ , ‘Best African Beauties 2014′, ‘Best European Beaties 2014‘, ‘Best American Beauties 2014′ under the Umbrella of ‘Best Beauties of 2014′, the 5th instalment is of ‘Best Oceania and Caribbean Beauties 2014’.  When it comes to pageant, these two continents don’t send much delegates, hence we clubbed them together. And most of the time, we generally see countries like Australia, New Zealand, Trinidad & Tobago and Jamaica shining. Let’s have a look at Top 7 Beauties from Oceania and Caribbean who made their mark in the pageants in 2014.

6th Runner Up: Miss Puerto Rico World, Genesis Davila

Best Oceania and Caribbean Beauties 2014

Genesis Davila was a hot favourite to win Miss Puerto Rico Universe 2013 where Monic Perez won and she stood as 1st runner up. Genesis later on represented Puerto Rico In Miss Intercontinental 2013 and stood 1st runner up there as well. The moment we saw her competing at Miss Puerto Rico World 2014, she became an instant favourite. She won and was expected to make a strong impression at Miss World 2014 but failed. However, her sharp features and personable attitude is what we liked a lot and that’s what made us place her in Top 7 of ‘Best Oceania and Caribbean Beauties 2014’

5th Runner Up: Miss Guyana Universe, Niketa Barker

Best Oceania and Caribbean Beauties 2014

Niketa Barker is a sweetheart. We loved her so much that we wanted to see her placing in Top 10 at least. She was also listed out as one of the Pleasant surprises at Miss Universe 2014. She could have done a Leila Lopes. The weak sash didn’t let her advance her in the finale of Miss Universe 2014 but that didn’t stop her from advancing in the Top 7 of ‘Best Oceania and Caribbean Beauties 2014’. Btw, we totally loved her Green gown presentation in the prelim.

4th Runner Up: Miss Australia Universe, Tegan Martin

Best Oceania and Caribbean Beauties 2014

Tegan Martin again put Australia in placement streak which was badly broken by Olivia Wells in 2013. Tegan had this model-ish look which stood her out. She had a lean body frame and tall towering height. Her blue evening gown made her look even taller in the finale. Top 10 was maximum she could have reached at Miss Universe and she did it. Tegan was definitely not as great as Jennifer Hawkins, Rachel Finch or even Sherri Lee Biggs, she definitely was a good representative from Australia.

3rd Runner Up: Miss Guyana World,Rafieya Husain

Best Oceania and Caribbean Beauties 2014

Rafieya Husain’s Beauty with a Purpose project against domestic violence was such a great hit that it made her win one of the Top 5 winners spot. This is what stood her out even before finale. Rafieya was bubbly, live and personable. She had these qualities that made Mrs. Julia note and give her a spot in Top 10. And we must say, she was totally worthy of it.

2nd Runner Up: Miss Australia World, Courtney Thorpe

Best Oceania and Caribbean Beauties 2014

Courtney Thorpe continued Australia’s success at Miss World for 3 continuous year. She was another hot favourite after Rolene Strauss and Koyal Rana. Her Ball gown look at the finale of Miss World 2014 made waves. However, many thought that she couldn’t answer her final question with much of convincing and that cost her the 1st runner up position. In any case, she was a treat to see in Top 5 at Miss World and in Top 3 at ‘Best Oceania and Caribbean Beauties 2014’

1st Runner Up: Miss Cuba Grand International, Lees Garcia

Best Oceania and Caribbean Beauties 2014

You hardly see girls  form such a small countries winning pageants, especially a pageant as good as Miss Grand International. We loved the freshness of Lees Garcia. She had this star quality that made her shine in the finale. Her One shoulder cut out gown with appliqués was  actually a horrendous gown but she worked it so well that it made her look outstanding. We love Lees Garcia but feel bad that she won’t be competing for the title of ‘Best Beauties 2014’

Winner: Miss Jamaica Universe, Kaci Fennel

Best Oceania and Caribbean Beauties 2014

Kaci Fennel..!!!

The name is enough 🙂 Do we really need to justify why she is the winner of ‘Best Oceania and Caribbean Beauties 2014’. This girl made such a huge impact on the audience that her 5th placement at Miss Universe 2014 created a controversy.  She was our pre favourite to win Miss Universe 2014. She had this live personality that is extremely genuine and what we appreciate about Kaci is that she knows how to move on. We saw her giving interviews later on where she said that Paulina Vega was the rightful winner and she doesn’t regret her placement at all. Man, you need life to say such things..!!! Her tall and slender frame made her kill the judges in the Swimsuit and her dragon red evening gown was sensational out there. She was also rated as Best Answer in the finale of Miss Universe. Now Kaci shall competed in ‘Best Beauties 2014’ along with the 5 regional winners. We are sure she is going to kick some serious asses out there..!!!
