Having a shapely and toned body is a blessing and everyone who cares about their looks will agree to this. In pageants, a good body is certainly something that is not only appreciated, but literally “expected” from the girls who genuinely aspire to win. Miss World pageant, often touted as the biggest pageant in the world, boldly scrapped off the swimsuit competition from the final show and replaced it with Beach Beauty event since 2003. The final winner is always from the circle of girls who did well in this event.
Indian beauties always have had to pass this acid test every year. And as already touched, the girls who did well in pageant were the ones who could show some mettle in beach beauty too. And vice versa – stunners like Navneet Kaur (2013) were left out of the top circle in the final show. Perhaps had she done well in Beach beauty, this would not have happened.
Two Indian beauties have by far managed to crack the TOP 10 of Beach Beauty event.
First among these two was Natasha Suri.
Natasha had this STUNNING hour-glass figure. Her waist was to die for. Her body was WOW during Miss India too and at Miss World Beach Beauty, she finished third – only after the beauties from Venezuela and Czech Republic.
Second beauty, whose performance at Beach Beauty was a little surprising to me personally, was Parvathy Omanakuttan in Miss World 2008.
Of course, we all knew she had a good body
after we saw her swimsuit video at Miss India. But at Miss World, she combined the same with her exceptional ramp-walk and confident stances. She made it to the Top 10 of Beach Beauty event and this was highly helpful to her in achieving the overall second position in the final show.
We would also like to mention Miss World 1997 Diana Hayden who won Best in Swimwear award in 1997. Again, the award helped her win the main title.
These can be taken as helpful information by Miss India organization. ONLY girls with strictly good bodies should be chosen as winners for Miss World pageant.
Hail to the BEACH BEAUTIES of India !!! 🙂
