Angela Bonilla is Miss Earth Ecuador 2015 [Photos]

Angela Bonilla has been chosen as Miss Earth Ecuador 2015. She had participated in Miss Ecuador 2015 and Miss World Ecuador 2013. In both cases, she failed to win. She is 22 and has height of 5′ 8″”. Angela Bonilla will be representing Ecuador at Miss Earth 2015 in Vienna, Austria later this year.

Angela Bonilla succeeds Maria Jose Maza Solorzano as the Miss Earth Ecuador title winner. Miss Earth Ecuador pageant is based at Guayaquil. It was formed in 2003. The first winner of the title was Isabel Cristina Ontaneda Pinto of Quito who failed to place in Miss Earth 2003, won by Miss Honduras Dania Prince. The first placement for Ecuador came via Cristina Eugenia Reyes Hidalgo of Guayaquil. She made it to the Top 16 of Miss Earth 2005, won by Miss Venezuela Alexandra Braun. Miss Earth Ecuador 2008 Andrea Carolina Leon Janzso of Machala won Miss Congeniality in Miss Earth 2008, won by Miss Philippines Karla Paula Henry. Big success came to Miss Earth Ecuador in Miss Earth 2010, won by Miss India Nicole Faria. Miss Earth Ecuador 2010 Jennifer Stephanie Pazmino Saldana of Guayaquil won Miss Earth Air 2010 title. However, she chose to get married before Miss Earth 2011 and hence had to give up her title. However, 2011 belonged to Ecuador. Miss Earth Ecuador 2011 Olga Mercedes Alava Vargas of Guayaquil won the title of Miss Earth 2011. She is the first and the only Miss Earth winner from Ecuador till date. Since then, no Miss Earth Ecuador winner has placed in Miss Earth pageant. However, Miss Earth Ecuador 2012 Tatiana Catalina Torres Rojas of Cuenca was Gold medalist at M.E. Most Fun Beauty in Miss Earth 2012, won by Miss Czech Republic Teresa Fajksova. and Miss Earth Ecuador 2014 Maria Jose Maza Solorzano won Miss City of Colors in Miss Earth 2014, won by Miss Philippines Jamie Herrell.
