Introducing Yavi Kumawat, a 19-year-old girl from the beautiful city of lakes, Udaipur, Rajasthan. The world of fashion and modeling is not just about glitz and glamour for her; it’s a platform to redefine beauty and inspire others to embrace their individuality. Despite facing societal and unrealistic beauty standards as a dusky-skinned girl, she stands before the world today by accepting her unique self and is ready to make a difference.
Contesting for India’s Miss TGPC Season-12 against 50 other girls from across India and beyond, Yavi Kumawat is ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery, empowerment, and advocacy, all while showcasing the diversity and vibrancy of India.
TGPC: What motivated you to participate in India’s Miss TGPC?
Yavi: I have a few model friends who have participated in India’s Miss TGPC, and I’ve seen how they are doing better and making a great impact in their surroundings. As a dusky girl who never believed in herself, now I want to believe and make a positive change in society. I believe that India’s Miss TGPC is the best place to learn, experience, and explore the modeling world.
TGPC: Why do you believe you are deserving of the India’s Miss TGPC title?
Yavi: I’m a person with a heart full of passion and ambition. I’m kind, honest, loyal, respectful, and responsible, and I believe that I’m ready to represent not just myself but also the values of compassion, resilience, and empowerment. I believe in the power of unity, diversity, and the beauty of individuality. I’m here to inspire and make a meaningful difference on the stage and beyond, and that’s why I believe I deserve India’s Miss TGPC title.
TGPC: Looking towards the future, what are your plans, both with and without the crown?
Yavi: My plans are to create my own fashion brand and work with my family businesses. But it’s my passion for helping and understanding other people’s pain that drives me. I believe that as humans, we should not forget to be humble and kind to each other. If I don’t get the crown, I’ll still be doing things to help others. However, if I win the crown, it will give me a stage to raise my voice and do more impactful things for humans and animals, inspiring many people along the way.

TGPC: Growing up, what would you say was your biggest challenge?
Yavi: Growing up, it was hard for me to love myself because I was treated differently and told that I didn’t look good enough. However, as I matured, I realized that beauty is not dependent on outer looks but on one’s inner self. Modeling gave me the confidence to embrace myself fully.
TGPC: Beyond winning, what aspect of India’s Miss TGPC are you most excited about?
Yavi: I’m excited to experience the sessions with this pageant and get to know each individual who has participated with me. I love learning about new cultures and people, but I’m especially excited about the knowledge I will gain and how it will develop my skills.
TGPC: As an aspiring winner of India’s Miss TGPC, what legacy do you aspire to leave behind?
Yavi: As an aspiring winner of India’s Miss TGPC, I would leave a legacy of self-love and self-belief. It’s important to believe in yourself and understand that it doesn’t matter if others accept you or not; you should love yourself and accept yourself the way you are.

TGPC: Could you share with us the causes or issues that you are particularly passionate about, and how do you intend to utilize this platform to create an impact?
Yavi: I want the world to love themselves and stop comparing their beauty to others. I believe that a respectful platform like India’s Miss TGPC can help me inspire the world in a better way. This pageant gives us a platform to develop a great impact.
TGPC: Is there any message you’d like to convey to those reading this?
Yavi: The only thing I want to convey is that we are all beautiful, unique, and perfect just the way we are. We don’t need to compare ourselves to others, and it’s important to always be there to help others and be kind.
