Introducing Swati Kumari, a 21-year-old final year BDS student residing in Bangalore, Karnataka. She is passionate about acting, dancing, and modeling. Having experienced setbacks in her modeling career, she now aims to proudly represent India in the near future.

Contesting for India’s Miss TGPC Season-12 against 50 other girls from across India and beyond, Swati is ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery, empowerment, and advocacy, all while showcasing the diversity and vibrancy of India.

TGPC: What motivated you to participate in India’s Miss TGPC?
Swati: TGPC was one of my dreams as I was following it for the past two years. Winning TTOM gave me a chance to learn more about TGPC, and I truly didn’t want to miss this opportunity because, for me, opportunities won’t come to you, you have to grab them, and I grabbed it.

TGPC: Why do you believe you are deserving of the India’s Miss TGPC title?
Swati: I think I should win because I am consistent towards my work. But winning is not everything because many people at this time will be in the same sentiment that they should win the title.

TGPC: Looking towards the future, what are your plans, both with and without the crown?
Swati: For me, planning should be there for everything you do, irrespective of whether you win or lose. My plans with and without the crown will not stop my hard work, and I’ll keep on going in both situations. Continuing to work hard will motivate me if I lose, and if I win, it will motivate others too along with me.

TGPC: Growing up, what would you say was your biggest challenge?
Swati: Coming from a place where some people are still narrow-minded about a woman’s clothing, this was the biggest challenge I have faced from the start of my pageant journey until today, which has made me realize that I can make a change.

TGPC: Beyond winning, what aspect of India’s Miss TGPC are you most excited about?
Swati: Of course, winning is the most awaited aspect, but other than this, I am really excited to meet everyone in person and much more excited for ramp walk sessions.

TGPC: As an aspiring winner of India’s Miss TGPC, what legacy do you aspire to leave behind?
Swati: As an aspiring winner of IMT, I want to continue the legacy of sisterhood where a woman supports other women.
