Introducing Priyanshi Shah, a 24-year-old from Thane, Maharashtra, a determined individual with a passion for modeling and acting, fueled by her love for dancing, fitness, and strength training. With a background in electronic and communication engineering, she brings a blend of technical knowledge and creative flair to her pursuits. Growing up in a Marwadi family, she learned the value of perseverance early on, facing financial challenges that motivated her to fight for her education.
Contesting for India’s Miss TGPC Season-12 against 50 other girls from across India and beyond, Priyanshi is ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery, empowerment, and advocacy, all while showcasing the diversity and vibrancy of India.
TGPC: What motivated you to participate in India’s Miss TGPC?
Priyanshi: I aspire to become the voice for every girl who dreams big but faces obstacles due to family and financial barriers. In our community, marriage is often seen as the ultimate success for girls, making it challenging for me to convince my parents that pursuing personal achievements rather than marriage brings true happiness. This has motivated me to prove myself and break through these societal norms.
TGPC: Why do you believe you are deserving of the India’s Miss TGPC title?
Priyanshi: I believe I deserve to win the India’s Miss TGPC title to become an inspiration for girls who come from families where dreaming big isn’t encouraged, and marriage is often seen as the only measure of success. I aim to prove that a woman who believes in herself can achieve anything in this world, regardless of the obstacles she may face.
TGPC: Looking towards the future, what are your plans, both with and without the crown?
Priyanshi: Whether I win or not, I’m committed to diving deeper into the modeling and acting industry. I want to prove that your background, whether high class or low class, and your connections don’t determine your success. What truly matters is having trust and belief in yourself.
TGPC: Growing up, what would you say was your biggest challenge?
Priyanshi: Growing up, my biggest challenge was believing in myself. I come from a family where dreaming big wasn’t encouraged, as we didn’t have much money or influential connections. This lack of support often left me feeling disheartened.
TGPC: Beyond winning, what aspect of India’s Miss TGPC are you most excited about?
Priyanshi: I’m excited about more than just winning. I see the journey ahead as an opportunity to experience new things that will inspire me and help me learn more about myself. I’ll be competing against girls who are already successful in their own lives, and I look forward to learning from them, growing, and improving myself along the way.
TGPC: As an aspiring winner of India’s Miss TGPC, what legacy do you aspire to leave behind?
Priyanshi: As an aspiring winner of India’s Miss TGPC, I aspire to leave behind a legacy of empowerment and inspiration. I want to use my platform to advocate for inclusivity, diversity, and the importance of self-confidence. By sharing my journey and experiences, I hope to encourage others to embrace their uniqueness and pursue their dreams fearlessly.
TGPC: Could you share with us the causes or issues that you are particularly passionate about, and how do you intend to utilize this platform to create an impact?
Priyanshi: She comes from a lower-class Marwadi family and lacks confidence, making it challenging for her to pursue a career in modeling and acting. However, she believes in herself and is determined to chase her dreams. She wants to be a voice for girls facing similar struggles, showing that with belief, anything is possible.
