Introducing Nisha Paul, a 27-year-old from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, who proudly represents her hometown of Jagdalpur in the heart of Bastar. With immense pride and honor, Nisha stands before you today as a representative of her beloved state. Armed with an MBA in Finance and HR, she has nurtured a passion for the art of dance, a source of boundless positivity in her life. However, it is the world of modeling that ignites the fire within her, driving her to pursue her dreams with unwavering determination.

Contesting for India’s Miss TGPC Season-12 against 50 other girls from across India and beyond, Nisha is ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery, empowerment, and advocacy, all while showcasing the diversity and vibrancy of India.

TGPC: What motivated you to participate in India’s Miss TGPC?

Nisha: I inspired many girls who came from very small towns with big dreams and made history through this platform.

TGPC: Why do you believe you are deserving of the India’s Miss TGPC title?

Nisha: I believe I deserve to win the title because I believe I can be the voice of all small-town girls who have a dream. I want to show them that they can change the world, empower them, and inspire them to follow their dreams. Additionally, I believe I have the sincerity and commitment to fulfill the duties that the title will bring.

TGPC: Looking towards the future, what are your plans, both with and without the crown?

Nisha: I love answering this question. If I win the title, I will motivate all the girls who come from rural areas. If I can win coming from this background, anyone can win too. I will help raise awareness through campaigns in all villages. If I don’t win, I will start from the beginning and definitely come back next year. At the end of the day, winning or not winning doesn’t matter; what matters is our inner beauty.

TGPC: Growing up, what would you say was your biggest challenge?

Nisha: When I was 5 years old, I had some issues with my legs because of which my school friends and teachers behaved very badly toward me. When I, a 5-year-old child, sat with people, the teachers did not allow it. I endured a lot, but my mom and dad always supported me. My dad took me to many hospitals for checkups; it took around 2 years. They also visited many temples. My other family members did not behave well toward me after that. A few years later, everything became normal. The moral of my story that I learned is: always be strong and believe that you can do anything.

TGPC: Beyond winning, what aspect of India’s Miss TGPC are you most excited about?

Nisha: I am excited about learning new things. Exploring the journey with inspiring people.

TGPC: As an aspiring winner of India’s Miss TGPC, what legacy do you aspire to leave behind?

Nisha: I believe that respect, honesty, and happiness are the greatest legacies in the world.

TGPC: Could you share with us the causes or issues that you are particularly passionate about, and how do you intend to utilize this platform to create an impact?

Nisha: Yes, thank you for this question. My father works in the police department. Because of this, he is posted to a new location every three years. That’s why we don’t live together even today due to the long distance of travel and our education. Within a year, we meet only once or twice. In that scenario, my mother, as a housewife, handled many difficult situations with family and others. THEN, one day she decided to restart her education because she had quit her education in the 10th grade due to her marriage. She worked very hard for this. The good thing is that my elder sister and my mother completed their graduation in the same year, and after that, she will get a job. I am always inspired by my mom. She never gives up. Also, I believe that learning is the key to success.

TGPC: Is there any message you’d like to convey to those reading this?

Nisha: Thank you for this opportunity to share my story. One small message from me: “Remember that beauty comes in all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds. Embrace your uniqueness, celebrate diversity, and always be kind to yourself and others. Your worth is not defined by external standards, but by the love and compassion you share with the world.”
