Meet Macqueen Serrao: India’s Miss TGPC Season-12 Finalist

Macqueen Serrao, a 25-year-old pharmacist from Mumbai, Maharashtra, knows the importance of responsibility. Being the eldest in her family has instilled in her a strong work ethic and a burning desire to chase her dreams. “Obeying my responsibilities,” she says, “has taught me one thing: being the eldest does not limit your goals; instead, it fuels them.” With this spirit, Macqueen embarks on her journey towards the Miss TGPC crown.

Contesting for India’s Miss TGPC Season-12 against 50 other girls from across India and beyond, Macqueen is ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery, empowerment, and advocacy, all while showcasing the diversity and vibrancy of India.

TGPC: Macqueen, what motivated you to participate in India’s Miss TGPC?

Macqueen: Embracing my role as the eldest in my family has taught me a profound lesson: rather than limiting ambitions, it ignites them with fervor. Looking at the past journeys of our pageant queens empowers me every time I see them.

TGPC: Why do you believe you are deserving of the India’s Miss TGPC title?

Macqueen: Yes, I believe in daring to dream, no matter where you come from.

TGPC: Looking towards the future, what are your plans, both with and without the crown?

Macqueen: Being a part of this pageant will give me the confidence to bring change and make all the aspiring young ladies never give up on their dreams.

TGPC: Growing up, what would you say was your biggest challenge?

Macqueen: The biggest challenge growing up is when you have your dreams on one side and the responsibility of your family where they look up to you on the other side.

TGPC: Beyond winning, what aspect of India’s Miss TGPC are you most excited about?

Macqueen: Beyond winning, it’s the transformation and the memories that would be lifelong.

TGPC: As an aspiring winner of India’s Miss TGPC, what legacy do you aspire to leave behind?

Macqueen: I aspire to inspire as many other young ladies out there with self-doubt and those holding onto their dreams, just like me, due to their responsibilities and self-doubt.

Macqueen: As mentioned, I aspire to inspire as many other young ladies out there with self-doubt and those holding onto their dreams, just like me, due to their responsibilities and self-doubt.

Macqueen: If I can do it, you can do it too.
