Introducing Anija J, a 25-year-old Software Engineer at Quest Global, currently residing in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Anija is a multifaceted individual with a passion for the arts and cultural exploration. As a self-taught realistic portrait artist, she embodies creativity and determination. Having lived across the country due to her father’s military service, she cherishes the exposure to diverse cultures and perspectives. An animal lover and proud dog mom to two lovely girls, Anija’s compassion extends beyond her career and hobbies. With a deep-seated passion for the world of modeling and fashion, she aspires to represent her country on an international stage, driven by ambition and a desire to make a meaningful impact.

Contesting for India’s Miss TGPC Season-12 against 50 other girls from across India and beyond, Anija J is ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery, empowerment, and advocacy, all while showcasing the diversity and vibrancy of India.

TGPC: What motivated you to participate in India’s Miss TGPC?

Anija: I was motivated to participate in the India’s Miss TGPC for several compelling reasons. Firstly, IMT, being an online pageant, caters to the needs of the participants from different regions and fosters a nurturing environment where contestants are affectionately regarded as TGPC’s beti, receiving valuable guidance and support throughout and even after their journey. Participating in India’s Miss TGPC is more than just winning a title; it’s about embracing a journey of self-discovery, empowerment, and advocacy while representing the diversity and vibrancy of India. This unique blend of inclusivity, mentorship, and a platform for personal growth resonated deeply with me, compelling me to embark on this enriching journey.

TGPC: Why do you believe you are deserving of the India’s Miss TGPC title?

Anija: I believe I am deserving of India’s Miss TGPC title because of my unwavering dedication to personal growth, my commitment to advocating for causes close to my heart to foster a more inclusive world, and my ability to inspire others through my actions. Moreover, I am deeply passionate about representing the diversity and vibrancy of India on an international platform. I am ready to embrace the responsibilities that come with the title and use this platform to make a positive impact in my community and beyond. Winning India’s Miss TGPC would not only be a personal achievement but also an opportunity to inspire and uplift others to pursue their dreams fearlessly.

TGPC: Looking towards the future, what are your plans, both with and without the crown?

Anija: Looking towards the future, with or without the crown, my plans are driven by a desire to make meaningful contributions. If honored with the crown, I aspire to utilize the platform to advocate for important causes, champion inclusivity and represent our nation internationally with grace and pride. However, even without the crown, I remain committed to continue pursuing my passions and serving as a catalyst for positive change in my community and beyond. My vision extends beyond titles; it is about leaving a lasting impact by fostering empowerment, compassion, and progress.

TGPC: Growing up, what would you say was your biggest challenge?

Anija: Growing up, my biggest challenge was navigating through a constantly changing environment while compounded by my introverted nature. As a child, I was incredibly shy which made adapting to new schools and environments daunting. Moving frequently due to my father’s job meant constantly stepping out of my comfort zone and adjusting to different people and culture. However, through these experiences, I learned to embrace the change, find my voice, and gradually overcome my shyness. It was a journey of self-discovery that taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of pushing beyond my boundaries.

TGPC: Beyond winning, what aspect of India’s Miss TGPC are you most excited about?

Anija: Beyond winning, I am thrilled about the chance to engage with a community of passionate individuals. The journey itself is an opportunity for personal growth and advocacy, allowing me to raise awareness for important causes on a broader scale. Furthermore, I am excited to represent the multifaceted beauty of India, showcasing our rich diversity and cultural heritage to inspire unity and understanding.
