Meet Aditi Sharma: India’s Miss TGPC Season-12 Finalist

Aditi Sharma
Introducing Aditi Sharma, a 19-year-old beacon of love from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. With a heart fueled by passion for her career, family, dreams, and life itself, Aditi radiates positivity and determination. Despite being an engineering student by profession, her soul finds solace in music and dance, making every beat a celebration of existence. Growing up in a society where women’s roles are often confined, her parents became her pillars of support, empowering her to pursue her aspirations freely.

TGPC: What motivated you to participate in India’s Miss TGPC?

Aditi: When trained under proper guidance even a slow learner becomes a good student. And as we know how much training is required for pageants these days, I always longed to train under Alesia and Anjali Raut mam, but with my dad being a Rapido driver and my mom being a housewife, I never could collect that whopping amount for training. But India’s Miss TGPC gave me a chance to learn under not only them but so many great teachers like them who are known for their characteristic work in pageants. If this can’t motivate a pageant aspirant, I don’t know what can.

TGPC: Why do you believe you are deserving of the India’s Miss TGPC title?

Aditi: From a small girl who saw pageant finales every year with great admiration and excitement, I was always curious to know what makes a winner deserving of the crown. After years of observation, I came to a conclusion that it’s not the most pretty face, best talent, better education, and language command that make someone a winner, but it’s the trust someone has in themselves, confidence in what they bring out to the world, and their kind intentions for everyone around which make someone a winner. I have all of that along with the determination to learn every lesson thrown at my way which makes me the deserving winner of India’s Miss TGPC.

TGPC: Looking towards the future, what are your plans, both with and without the crown?

Aditi: According to me, the girl who considers themselves queens are queens whether they have a crown or not. And I consider myself a queen who knows what she wants and how can I get it. And if my destiny supports me and you guys also consider me a queen, then I will make sure to make all those girls like me believe the dream that they think is far-fetched can be fulfilled with your hard work and determination and became that source of light for them which I wanted to see my childhood. And if someone else amongst our TGPC family wins that crown, I will be happy for seeing that light of dreams that I have within one of my sisters because what matters in the end is light must be bloomed no matter who does that. And I will continue my further journey with a new sense of inspiration, where my destiny will remain the same but maybe with a better path which I didn’t know before.

TGPC: Growing up, what would you say was your biggest challenge?

Aditi: There was a time in my life where not even a single aspect of my life was going good. My health was deteriorating due to chronic migraines, and I was just in my bed laying in pain for almost 20 days out of a month. I was always a bright child, but I was not able to cope up with the pressure of competitive exams. And my health was making it worse, making me lose my confidence in the place which was my only escape since the time I faced bullying from my own best friends in school. Due to which what I was avoiding came straight in front of my face making me wonder whom to ask for help. I realized my parents are the only ones to rely on, but they too were on the verge of separation at that time. I had no one to express myself, to ask for help, or just have a shoulder to cry on. And after all that what I was left with was just me, I had to wake up for me, no one but me and I bang on. Started meditation and breath-work to fix my physical and mental issues. Gave love to myself to heal my inner child. And did what was my best in studies rather than comparing to some topper’s schedules. And trust me, sab theek ho gaye and I realized meri strength hi meri liye kaafi hai.

TGPC: Beyond winning, what aspect of India’s Miss TGPC are you most excited about?

Aditi: The training that TGPC offers stands out as one of the most reforming journeys for its past contestants. And as a person who loves to see sides of me that I didn’t get the opportunity to discover before, I am very excited to meet and train under one of the best mentors in our country for pageants and see the queens who have started their journey from here and take inspiration from them.

TGPC: As an aspiring winner of India’s Miss TGPC, what legacy do you aspire to leave behind?

Aditi: To make people believe where you are right now doesn’t have to determine where you will end up. No one has written your destiny for you. You make your own future.

TGPC: Could you share with us the causes or issues that you are particularly passionate about, and how do you intend to utilize this platform to create an impact?

Aditi: Since the time you are reading the answers of mine. Some girl somewhere is shouting for help, wishing that the inhuman who’s standing in front of her gets a little humanity in his heart and leaves her. But does that humanity ever come and if not how will it come? Through punishments yes for some extent so than, with better law maybe that person never comes back to do the same mistake twice or make him question his actions but does he never intend to do that. No right? Because the actual problem lies in the upbringing of that child that made him believe he has an upper hand over any woman and their consent can never matter and through this platform I want to change that mindset making young children know what consent is? What love is? And what makes them a real man? So that at least one girl never sees the lustful inhuman and have hope in the existence of humanity.

TGPC: Is there any message you’d like to convey to those reading this?

Aditi: You must have observed till now I am a person who don’t know how to give up on my dreams and I never intend to learn that as well. And winning Miss India’s TGPC will fulfill the most hopeful dream of mine. Hence you discovered about one of your winners today. Thank you.
