Adline Castelino wins Miss Universe India crown at Miss Diva 2020

Super stunning and a mega crowd favourite Adline Castelino was crowned as the winner of Miss Universe India title at the finale of Miss Diva 2020 held last night. The finale was kept in Yash Raj Studio in Mumbai where 20 finalists selected across country competed for the title. Adline will now represent India at Miss Universe 2020. She was crowned by outgoing queen Vartika Singh. The show was hosted by Malaika Arora and Sachin Kumbhar. The finale saw dazzling performances from Ishaan Khattar and Jacqueline Fernandez. The finale was graced by Anntonia Porsild, Miss Supranational 2019.

Adline is 22-years-old model from Mumbai, having roots from Udupi. She was born and brought up in Kuwait but at the age of 15, she moved to Mumbai to do graduation. She participated in India’s Miss TGPC Season-4 where she was declared as the winner. Her win was globally accepted by pageant communities. In fact, Adline was crown favourite for Miss Universe India title even before she auditioned for the contest. And for the first time in history, each of the pageant communities and pageant personalities has Adline Castelino as the top choice for the crown, which has never happened for any Miss Diva edition before. Adline was trained for pageant by Alesia Raut & Anjali Raut at Cocoaberry Pageant Studio while she had make-over and style grooming sessions done by Dimple Mehta from Dimple & Amrin.

Adline Castelino worked with VSP for her cause of providing sustainable livelihood to the farmers in village. Her national costume also received appreciation from across pageant industry for portraying the real cause through her dress. It was her tribute to her grand mother who passed away at a tender age of 22 while giving birth to mother of Adline due to lack of medical facilities in the village.

At the same event,  Aavriti Choudhary was crowned as Miss Supranational India 2020 and Neha Jaiswal was crowned as the runner-up. The event also saw the presence of bollywood and fashion industry celebrities like Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, Lara Dutta, designer duo Shivan and Narresh, Miss Supranational 2014 Asha Bhat, designer Nikhil Mehra and designer Gavin Miguel were among the panel of judges of the competition. The event has been ranked as one of the most successful events with perfect results as declared by public.
