Toni Ann Singh from Jamaica crowned as Miss World 2019
Stunning Toni Ann Singh of Jamaica was crowned as the winner of Miss World 2019. The finale of the pageant was held in ExCel, London. Toni Ann Singh of Jamaica won the prestigious Miss World crown during a festive finals night held at Excel Arena in London. Toni battled out 110 other contestants from across the globe. She succeeds Vanessa Ponce de Leon from Mexico as the new Miss World. Toni also won Best in Talent subtitle apart from the main title. This is the 4th time Jamaica has won the crown of Miss World. Previous winners from the Caribbean nation includes Carole Joan Crawford in 1963, Cindy Breakspeare in 1976 and Lisa Hanna in 1993.
At the same event, France’s Ophély Mézino was crowned as first runner-up while India’s Suman Rao was crowned as the second runner-up. The Top 5 court was completed by Miss Brazil and Miss Nigeria. Completing the Top 12 finalist were, Cook Islands, Kenya, Mexico, Nepal, Philippines, Russia, Vietnam.
