What is India’s Miss TGPC (IMT)?

India’s Miss TGPC (IMT) is a beauty pageant organized by The Great Pageant Community (TGPC), India’s leading pageant coverage platform.

IMT is known as the world’s first fully online beauty pageant, allowing contestants from anywhere in India to participate and compete from the comfort of their own location. The pageant is designed to identify, groom, and promote promising talents in the Indian pageant industry.


How is the pageant conducted?

After submitting the application, contestants go through a two-stage screening process conducted by a jury panel.

Shortlisted contestants who clear the screening and complete the participation formalities are then enrolled in an exclusive induction and training program.

Participants receive approximately 10+ professional training sessions conducted by renowned industry experts such as:

  • Anjli Raut
  • Tanvi Kharote
  • Nikita Tanwani
  • Adline Castelino
  • Praachi Nagpal
  • Rita Gangwani

These sessions cover essential pageant skills including:

  • Ramp walk

After completing the training phase, contestants submit videos for different competition rounds such as:

  • Question & Answer Round

All videos are submitted online before the given deadline. The rounds are then compiled and released through TGPC’s blog, social media platforms, and YouTube channel.

What is the Audition selection criteria?

The jury evaluates each application based on several factors including:

  • Photographs
  • Personality and potential
  • Achievements
  • Educational background
  • Communication skills

Shortlisted applicants are invited for a second screening interview. Based on both rounds of evaluation, the final list of contestants for the season is selected.

Professional photoshoots are not mandatory, but clear and well-presented pictures are highly recommended as they create the first impression for the jury.


Is the competition completely online?

Yes. The pageant remains fully online until the Top 5 finalists are announced.

The Top 5 contestants are then invited to attend the Grand Finale, which may take place in cities such as Bengaluru, Pune, or Mumbai, where the final winners of the season are crowned on stage.


What is the participation fee?

The participation fee varies slightly each season.

Shortlisted contestants receive the exact details via email. Typically, the participation fee ranges between:

₹15,000 – ₹20,000

This fee covers training sessions, contest participation, and various pageant activities.


What activities take place during the contest?

Although the pageant is online, it includes many activities similar to traditional pageants.

Contestants participate in rounds and special titles such as:

  • Miss Multimedia
  • Miss Talented
  • Miss Golden Heart
  • Miss Rampwalk
  • Miss Beautiful Smile

There are also regular Q&A interactions and creative challenges, giving contestants multiple opportunities to shine and win subtitle awards.

Do I have to attend a physical audition?

No. All screenings and interviews are conducted online by the jury panel, making the process accessible for contestants from anywhere in India.


Do winners have to sign a contract or bond?

No.

There is no binding contract that stops them from pursuing other pageants. Winners remain free to participate in any other national or international pageants.

TGPC is happy to assist and support winners in preparing for their future pageant journeys.


Can beginners participate in IMT?

Yes. IMT welcomes both beginners and experienced contestants. The training sessions are specifically designed to help participants improve their pageant skills. In fact, a lot of our winners, have been very fresh and never been into pageants before winning India’s Miss TGPC (For example: Adline Castelino, Avani Kakekocchi, Jigyasa Sharma)


Do I need professional modeling experience?

No. Modeling or pageant experience is not mandatory. The contest focuses on identifying potential and helping contestants grow during the competition.


Can contestants participate while studying or working?

Yes. Since most activities are conducted online, contestants can comfortably manage the competition alongside studies or work.


How long does one season of IMT last?

A season usually runs for several weeks (Tentatively 4 to 6), including training sessions, rounds, and the final announcement of Top 5 finalists.

  1. What is the shortest height winner of India’s Miss Tgpc? Is there anyone less than 5’5 or 5’3?

  2. When are selected applicants notified? As in how many weeks before the competition starts?

  3. When is 5he last date to appy , and when would the show actually begin, just to arrange the things

    • Regular pics are acceptable. But the better pictures, the higher chances of shortlisting are.

  4. do you have to be an indian citizen to win this pageant? I gave up my citizenship a few months ago but im very keen on participating in this pageant!
