India’s Miss TGPC Pageant: Frequently Asked Questions

-What is India’s Miss TGPC (Short form IMT)?

India’s Miss TGPC is a beauty pageant conducted by India’s No. 1 Pageant Coverage media ‘The Great Pageant Community (TGPC)’. It is world’s first ever online pageant where a contestant can apply anywhere from India and compete in the contest from the place of her convenience.

-How it is conducted?

Once the contestant has applied for IMT, a panel of jury will shortlist certain number of candidates based on listed criteria. After clearing participation fees, the shortlisted contestants then receive mail regarding the rounds of the contest. The contestants need to shoot the videos like Party Wear, Style Icon Wear, Ethnic Wear, Various Question and Answers and certain subtitles (Only for reference). The contestants need to send these videos to us on mail before deadline. Once the videos are received, we compile them and create rounds. -What is the selection criteria?

We go through the application of the girl and consider her pictures, her potential, her achievements, her educational background. Hence, make sure you fill your form with sincerity. Also, while we don’t really demand for professional shoot, we insist on uploading good pictures of yours. Because pictures determine the first impression on jury.

-Is it purely online?

Yes. It is purely online, except the crowning. The Top 5 winners need to travel to the crowning venue where they are officially crowned as the winners of that particular season. No other travel is required for the contest from the organization.

-What is the fee structure?

It varies from year to year and once the girls are shortlisted, they get mail regarding the same. It can be between Rs. 10,000/- to Rs. 12,500/-

-What are the activities during the contest?

While it’s an online pageant, it covers all the aspects of any physical pageant. We have various activities like daily QA rounds, Miss Multimedia, Miss Talented, Miss Golden Heart, Miss Rampwalk, Miss Beautiful Smile etc. Hence, there are many chances for you to grab a subtitle.

-What are the Prizes of IMT?

This varies from year to year but an approximated worth of the prizes our girls receive is estimated around 2 Lac worth. This includes modelling and pageant training at India’s No. 1 Pageant institute-Cocoaberry, Image consultation and style grooming by Celebrity Fashion Stylist-Dimple Amrin, Dental and Skin consultation and treatments by industry experts, sponsor gifts, crown and sash, assistance to winners during their quest for other national titles and lifetime coverage and promotion of winners on all our social media outlets.

-What are the benefits of participating in IMT?

• They will get extremely good exposure since TGPC is visited by so many pageant personalities (queens, sponsors, organizers, coaches, mentors, national directors, etc.).
• Full-on coverage on the most active pageant outlet of India, through promotions at various channels.
• Our community will also assist the girls in improving their skills through various online tutorials and custom guidance.
• Participation is quite easy as there is no physical presence required to any venue and fees is quite economical.

-No Height Criteria.

-Do I have to give any audition to become a finalist?

There is no physical audition. Only online screening by the panel of our jury.

-Do I have to sign any contract/bond after winning IMT?

No bond or contract is there. You are free to participate in any pageant you want. In fact we would be happy to assist you in preparations during your journey for the other national crowns.
