The 23rd edition of Puteri Indonesia came to a crescendo on Friday, 8th of April 2019 at the Jakarta Convention Center in Jakarta, Indonesia. 19 -year-old Frederika Alexis Cull representing Jakarta SCR 1 defeated 38 other contestants to win the title of Puteri Indonesia 2019. Frederika was crowned by the outgoing Puteri Indonesia winner Sonia Fergina as the new Puteri Indonesia winner. Frederika will now represent Indonesia at the Miss Universe 2019 pageant later this year where she will try to succeed Catriona Gray as the new Miss Universe.

In the same event, North Sulawesi’s representative Jolene Marie Cholock-Rotinsulu was crowned as Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2019 (Miss International Indonesia 2019) Jolene was crowned by the outgoing Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan, Vania Fitryanti Herlambang. Jolene will represent Indonesia at Miss International 2019 where she will try to succeed Venezuela’s Mariem Velazco as the next Miss International. Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2019 (Miss Indonesia Supranational 2019) title went to West Java’s, Jesica Fitriana Martasari. Jesica was crowned by the outgoing Miss Supranational Indonesia, Wilda Situngkir. Jesica will represent Indonesia at the Miss Supranational 2019 pageant later this year. Where she will try to succeed  Valeria Vázquez as the new Miss Supranational.

Miss Universe 2018, Catriona Gray of the Philippines, Miss International 2018, Mariem Velazco of Venezuela & Miss Supranational 2018, Valeria Vazquez from Puerto Rico were the special guest at the pageant whereas Indonesia’s very own Miss International 2017, Kevin Lilliana and Miss Supranational 2017, Jenny Kim served as judges during the final night.
