Júlia Horta wins Miss Brasil 2019

Júlia Horta representing Minas Gerais defeated 26 other contestants to win the title of Miss Brasil 2019. The grand finale of Miss Brasil 2019 took place on Saturday, 9th of March 2019 at Sao Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Center in Sao Paulo. Júlia was crowned by the outgoing Miss Brasil, Mayra Dias. Júlia will represent Brazil at the Miss Universe 2019 pageant later this year where she will try to succeed Catriona Gray as the next Miss Universe. Miss Ceará, Luana Lobo was crowned as the first runner-up whereas the second runner-up crown went to Miss São Paulo, Bianca Lopes. Miss Rio Grande do Norte, Erika Fontes & Miss Rio Grande do Sul, Bianca Scheren completed the top 5.

24-years-old Júlia is a social media influencer, journalist, presenter and a model by profession. Júlia is a native of Juiz de Fora in the state of Minas Gerais.
