Ioanna Bella wins Star Hellas 2018

23-years-old Ioanna Bella from Athens was crowned as Star Hellas 2018. The grand finale of Star Hellas took place on Sunday, 30th September 2018 in Athens, Greece. Ionna succeeds Maria Psilou as the new Stars Hellas winner. Ionna will represent Greece at the Miss Universe 2018 pageant which is scheduled to take place in Bangkok, Thailand on the 16th of December 2018. In the same event 20-years-old, Maria Lepida was crowned as Miss Hellas 2018. Maria will represent Greece at the Miss World 2018 which will take place on 8th of December 2018 in Sanya, China. Angeliki Mavrommatis was crowned as Miss Young Hellas 2018. Anastasia Kalogeri was crowned as first runner-up for Star Hellas 2018, Marina Grigoriou – 1st Runner-up Miss Hellas 2018 and Penny Metaxa was awarded 1st Runner-up Miss Young Hellas 2018.
Corinna Tsopei is the only Greecian woman to have won the Miss Universe crown she was crowned as Miss Universe 1964. Greece last placed at the Miss Universe pageant in the year 2005 when Evagelia Aravani made it to the top 15. Miss Greece, Irene Skliva was crowned as Miss World 1996 in Bangalore, India. Irene is the only Greecian woman to have won the Miss World crown.
