Nelma Ferreira wins Miss World Angola 2018

20-years-old, Nelma Ferreira a high school student from Benguela was crowned as Miss World Angola 2018. Nelma will represent Angola at the Miss World 2018 pageant which is scheduled to take place in Sanya, China on December 8th. Nelma will try to succeed India’s Manushi Chhillar as the next Miss World. The grand finale of Miss World Angola 2018 took place on Monday 24th of September 2018 in Luanda the capital city of Angola.

Angola returned to the Miss World pageant last year after a hiatus of four years. Angola started competing at the Miss World pageant since the year 1998 the highest placement for Angola was in the year 2007 when the stunning Micaela Reis bagged the first runner-up crown and the next year Birgite dos Santos was in the top 5.
