Tamaryn Green wins Miss South Africa 2018

Stunning Tamaryn Green was crowned as the winner of Miss South Africa 2018. The finale was held at at Sun Arena, Time Square. Tamaryn will now represent her country at Miss Universe 2018, where she will try to succeed Demi Leigh, Miss South Africa 2018 and Miss Universe 2018 winner. She battled out 11 other contestants in finale to claim the title of Miss South Africa. She was crowned by outgoing queen Adè van Heerden.

At the same event, Thulisa Keyi was declared as Miss World South Africa 2018. She will represent South Africa in upcoming Miss World contest in China. Rounding up the Top 5 were, Karishma Ramdev, Noxolo Ndebele & Thandokazi Mfundisi.

South Africa is pageant powerhouse of Africa they have won 3 Miss World crowns Penelope Anne Coelen (1958) Anneline Kriel (1974) and Rolene Strauss who won Miss World in 2014. South Africa has hosted Miss World on multiple occasions. South Africa has won two Miss Universe crown courtesy of Margaret Gardiner in the year 1978 reigning the reigning Miss Universe Demi Leigh Nel Peters  also hails from South Africa.
