Dayanara Martinez wins Miss World Puerto Rico 2018

Stunning Dayanara Martinez was crowned as the winner of Miss Mundo Puerto Rico 2018. She will now represent Puerto Rico in Miss World 2018 contest, expected to be held in China. She was crowned by her predecessor and Miss World 2016 Winner Stephanie Del Valle. She represented the province of Canóvanas at the pageant. The finale of the pageant was held at the Raúl Juliá Theater of the Art Museum of Puerto Rico.

At the same event, Miss Trujillo Alto Mónica Serrano was declared as first runner-up while Miss Ponce, Yarelis Salgado was declared as the second runner-up. The show was initially supposed to send a delegate to Miss World 2017 but was cancelled in last moment due to 2 devastating hurricanes. Dayanara Martinez was a mega favorite to win the contest already and with this win, she confirmed her favoritism.
