Veruska Ljubisavljevic is Miss World Venezuela 2017

Veruska Ljubisavljevic from La Guaira, Vargas is chosen as Miss World Venezuela 2017. She succeeds Ana Carolina Ugarte as Miss World Venezuela; Ana is currently competing at Miss World 2017 in China. Veruska will compete at Miss World 2018.

26 years old Veruska Ljubisavljevic is a model and stands 5 ft 10 inches tall. She has a degree in Advertising. She loves to cook and is a chef by profession. Veruska speaks Spanish, English and Serbian.

We are not sure if Veruska will be allowed to compete in Miss World 2018. Her age is 26 which is already above the age limit for Miss World. Venezuela holds the world record of highest Miss World wins. They won crowns in 6 years – 1955, 1981, 1984, 1991, 1995, 2011. However since their last win in 2011, Venezuela has not even placed in the pageant. It seems that there is a disconnect between what Miss World is looking for and the kind of contestants Miss Venezuela is sending. This chain of failures might break this year because Ana is a good speaker.
